Undergraduate Students
Four undergraduate students from Colorado State University helped develop this module and website:
1. Sara Knighton was a Natural Sciences (Biology) major and in the Licensure Program. She was an NSF Noyce Scholar and is now working as a science teacher. She is currently enrolled (as of Summer 2017) in the Masters in Natural Science Education Program, CSU). 2. Haile Romero was a Natural Sciences (Biology) major and in the Licensure Program. She is completing her MS degree in Neurobiology, after which she plans to pursue secondary science teaching. 3. Jordan Fleming is a Biology major with an interest in learning as much as she can. She is an Honors student and interested in Ecology & Evolution and has been working with local middle school students and teachers to support STEM instruction. 4. Kyle Mabie is a Biology major who is from a family of educators. He loves environmental/outdoor education and is considering pursuing his primary or secondary teaching license so he can become a science teacher. Along with Jordan, he has been working with local middle school students and teachers to support STEM instruction. |
We thank DeeDee Wright and John Howe, both STEM Educators from Poudre School District (PSD) and doctoral students at Colorado State University. They helped supervise the undergraduate students and disseminate the curriculum materials to PSD teachers.
